Co-Creation Failures – When was the last time you tried to co-create and it failed? What were the reasons – any thoughts – any factors? Does it requires more than trust, confidence and synergy?

My answer

First thing that clicked me is wikipedia. Second is our behaviour which we try to mould in the way the world asks it to be, but many a times we fail and that is the reason why some people dont like us. Coming to my field, Information Systems and security, Security is now being fully regulated with controls such as COBIT, IT val framework etc. etc. but still it leaks. Both the controls and the security leakages will remain in fight till the dawn and hence a co creation failure. Coming to my personal experience I believe it requires persistence and humility to accept the facts along with trust, confidence and synergy. Its a slow process. I was involved in building presentations on work culture with perot systems. Countries like Dubai gave me lot of trouble to get the relevant and correct Data. Many attributes like greetings, dining are overlapping in various countries. I wanted some tool to differentiate them in a graphical manner. Then I realized that I shall group similar countries and do the in depth study in terms of body posture. It was strange I realized as one of my results that in Dubai after shake hand, people touch their hand to their heart. I am still exploring such kind of facts. “Environment moulds you, now its you who have to mould it back or mould yourself accordingly- Decision is yours”

TRIZ, It is a technique to solve innovation problems.
TRIZ, in contrast to techniques such as brainstorming (which is based on random idea generation), aims to create an algorithmic approach to the invention of new systems, and the refinement of old systems.
It provides tools and methods for use in problem formulation, system analysis, failure analysis and patterns of system evolution (both ‘as-is’ and ‘could be’).
